Cultural Supervision

Next Manaaki Session:
October 21st: 12:30pm-1:30pm

The Cultural Reflective Space provides researchers, clinicians and others with a regular, culturally safe environment to reflect, learn and engage in meaningful dialogue about their practice and experiences. These sessions create opportunities to explore Tikanga Best Practice and the application of Kaupapa Māori, while strengthening cultural understanding, confidence and capability.

Through open and reflective kōrero, participants are encouraged to consider their role in decolonisation, recognising and addressing systemic racism, and becoming active agents of change within their workplaces, research, services and wider systems. The space supports continued learning and encourages participants to translate reflection into meaningful changes in their everyday practice.
