Focus Group | Komiti Galulue
Providing Māori and Pasifika communities with meaningful, accessible, and culturally safe opportunities to share their lived experiences, knowledge, values, and perspectives on health-related topics that are important to their whānau, aiga, and wider communities. We offer flexible engagement options by facilitating focus groups online or kanohi ki te kanohi, allowing participants to contribute in the setting and format in which they feel most comfortable. We can also support participant recruitment by helping researchers connect with the appropriate communities and ensuring the recruitment process is respectful, inclusive, and guided by culturally appropriate practices. Through this approach, we help ensure Māori and Pasifika voices are heard, valued, and meaningfully reflected in the design, delivery, and evaluation of research, health services, initiatives, and solutions that respond to community needs, priorities, aspirations, and collective wellbeing.
