Te Reo Māori

This initiative provides kairangahau and others with an opportunity to broaden their understanding of Te Ao Māori and strengthen their confidence when engaging with Māori whānau, communities and colleagues.

Participants are supported to learn and develop Te Reo Māori within the context of Te Ao Māori, recognising that language, culture and identity are interconnected. The focus is on practical and relevant conversational language that can be applied within everyday interactions, research and professional environments.

Through continued learning and engagement, this initiative aims to strengthen cultural understanding, confidence and capability, supporting more meaningful relationships and positive engagement outcomes with Māori.
